Following the success of her ceramic hens, the Belgian artist designed a new collection: the BOLHOM, two series of 7 funny vases/plant pots.

You have the choice between two families, the « Spring » with their slightly acidulated colors and the « Fall » with warmer tones.

The Bolhom are between 16 and 21 cm high and weigh approximately 2 kg. The opening has a diameter of +/- 10 cm.

Catherine Hunter

Born in Ekeren (Belgium) in 1954, artistic education at St Luc Superior Art School in Brussels (specialised in illustration), married with two children, publishes a book in 1979 « Les Mangeurs de Ciel » (Duculot Edition); she lives successively in Paris, Geneva, Munich, London and Brussels. She learns ceramics in 1988 and starts her own studio in Genval in 1998 where she also teaches ceramic.

She creates « Les poules de Catherine Hunter » in 2000 and sells thousands of them all over the world.

She embarks on sailing from France to Australia with her husband in 2004. En route, she works with local ceramists and potters, whenever she has the opportunity.

In 2008, she opens Galerie Taptoe in the center of Brussels and installs her studio there. Her work is exhibited permanently in the gallery. Visitors can see her at work.
